Below is a list of our most frequently asked questions. However, if you have a question that hasn’t been answered here, then please do get in touch and we will be happy to answer any other questions you may have.
Q1. “Will I need a new tinting patch test, if I have had one before”?
If it’s your first tinting session at Beauty By Jess, then Yes. A new patch test will need to be completed a minimum of 24 hours prior to treatment. This is required even if you have had one completed elsewhere.
If you have previously had a patch test at Beauty By Jess then you may not need another one.
Q2. “Can I bring my children with me while I have my beauty treatment”?
Unfortunately not, we want your treatment to be as relaxing as possible and therefore request that children are not brought to the salon.
Q3. “Can you remove nail Gel that I applied by myself”?
No, I do not remove Gel if it has been applied by you or another salon as all systems have products that build onto each other and mine may not be compatible with another range.
Q4. “Can you help with my teenagers severe acne”?
Yes, we have specialist beauty treatments to help with a variety of teenagers skin conditions. You may also want to read up on the following assistive dietary advice as well {article link coming soon}
Q5. “What is your cancelation process and fees”?
We have a cancellation policy of 24 hours notice. Anything under this will have a cancellation fee of 50% of treatment cost.
Q6. “Do I need to book for a treatment or consultation”?
Yes, all treatments and consultations must be booked in advance either online or via telephone. We cannot accept walk-ins.
Q7. “Are you still open during the COVID 19 pandemic”?
Beauty By Jess is fully COVID compliant and we hold a valid COVID hygiene certificate. In addition, all staff have received their COVID 19 vaccinations.
We will endeavor to remain open, unless we are advised to close due to government guidance and any relevant tier system or lockdown imposed. Please follow our social media channels for the very latest information.
